Container dri

Container Dri

Container Dri is one of the important product of Clariant. Container Desiccant is the new generation of transport protection for the reduction of dewpoint and management of condensation.

It eliminates mould, corrosion, mildew, peeling labels and alternative harmful effects of moisture-related harm throughout shipping and storage while not generating liquid water. Container Desiccant's innovative style permits water vapor to simply enter the inside of the bag, where it is transformed into a thick gel, which will not leak, escape, or spill.

Container Dri II keeps vulnerable cargo safe and dry by absorbing moisture vapor from the air. In doing so, Container Dri II reduces dewpoint temperature or the temperature at which condensation begins to form, causing "container rain".

Container Desiccant is available in 125g bags and can be easily placed throughout the cargo to provide consistent protection. Bags are out there with adhesive backing to produce straightforward installation onto the walls of shipping containers or within storage warehouses.

Silica Gel

Container Dri and desiccant are other forms of Silica Gel. It can help to increase the shelf life of packaged foods, electronic equipment, machinery, containers, and all other packed items.

Silica gel contains Calcium chloride. That will helps to trap moisture from the atmosphere as well as from the outer surface of the products. By absorbing moisture and wet, the products will stay as dry. In this way, it helps to protect the packaged items.

The Silica gel is non-toxic. It can be disposed of with regular waste. No need to search for additional waste disposing methods. Therefore it is easy to use as well as easy to dispose of. Sometimes it appears as a gel, after absorbing maximum wet or moisture. In the initial state, it will act as a solid material, after absorbing the wet only it will turn to gel. The silica gel packets will get harder when it starts to absorb moisture.
