When we are using this, a bolt will be placed through the hole of the cable lug.

Cable Termination

The electrical cable termination is that the physical and electrical affiliation of a cable finish that connects to a different cable, or to the terminal of the equipment. The ways accustomed terminate the cables vary in step with the kind of cable, variety of instrumentation and application.

During termination, you press the cable between 2 edges of a metal clip, that displaces the insulation and exposes the copper conductor. This ensures a solid connection between the copper conductor and the terminating clip.
