Stainless steel Cable ties
Stainless steel cable ties are commonly used for outdoor applications. Normally the applications, which requires corrosion-resistant ties. Also, it has a high tensile strength. Because of its high tensile strength, it has a good life also. It is highly durable and enough strength to use in big applications.
Stainless steel cable ties are a great universal zip tie – they offer unparalleled strength, are metal detectable, and are well-suited to work in a variety of environments. They are ideal for bundling and securing a wide assortment of cable, wires, and assemblies even in the most extreme temperatures and severe environmental conditions.
What you may not know is that there are three different varieties of stainless steel cable ties:
- Stainless steel cable ties are used in applications that require corrosion-resistant ties, mostly for outdoor applications.
- Nylon-coated ties that provide strength while minimizing scratches.
- There are also plastic ties that have ferrous materials embedded in them for detection by metal scanning equipment.
All the cable ties are used to hold the cables or wires together by avoiding movements. But some times after tying the cables together we will get confused about each cable or its uses. May be each cable application will be different, therefore before tying together, we have to mention it clearly by using cable tag techniques.
There are different techniques for mentioning the name or purpose of a cable. The common and one of the simplest methods is cable tag with ties. That means cable ties are available with tags. Therefore we can tie the cables easily at the same time we can mention the purpose or its name on it.
It is easy to differentiate each cable by its cable tags. It is available in different colors, sizes, shapes...etc. We can use custom made tags also. Normally tags will be in the middle portion of the cable tie. We can write on it by hand or we can paste any printed materials on it.
