Drilling and Welding Machines
For most of all the workshops, a drilling machine is one of the most important machine tools. Drilling is known as as the operation of manufacturing a cylindrical hole of needed diameter and depth by removing metal by the rotating edges of a drill. The cutting tool known as the drill is fitted into the spindle of the drilling machine.
Drilling could be a cutting method that uses a drilling bit to chop a hole of circular crosswise in solid materials. The drilling bit of a drilling machine is typically a rotary cutting tool, often multi-point. Instead, the opening is typically created by hammering a drilling bit into the opening with quickly repeated short movements.
Hand Drilling machine: A power-operated machine that holds the drill in its spindle rotating at high speeds and once actuated move linearly against the work produces a hole. Drilling machines have a long life span, therefore when we are purchasing one, it should be a good quality product.
Welding by using a welding machine is moderate to very hard, depending upon the person. You can't learn it from books or videos; it's definitely a "hands-on" skill. Not only from a skill standpoint, but welding takes its toll on the human body. It will damage your eyesight, it can damage your skin (both from UV radiation).
Five kinds of welded joints in a welding technique by using a welding machine are butt joint, corner joint, lap joint, tee-joint and edge joint.
Normally the use of a welding machine is a little bit dangerous for the beginners. Arc welding could be a safe occupation once correct precautions are taken. But, if safety measures are ignored, welders face an array of hazards which can be potentially dangerous, including electric shock, fumes and gases, fire and explosions and more.
