Chemical etching

Chemical Etching

The most used technique for etching metal is this procedure, which is also known as photo chemical etching. It can replicate a remarkably high degree of detail. Other resist techniques that are frequently employed in metal etching are: resists printed on a screen, resistible to laser engraving, Resist vinyl, Direct imaging using a laser, and resists produced directly with an inkjet.

Chemical milling is different than chemical etching. A highly precise method called chemical milling is used to turn sheet metal into complicated pieces and components. The artwork is put on both sides of the material and etched from both sides to cut through the material completely during the chemical milling process.

Chemical milling offers an accurate and cost-effective option for many precision metal applications as an alternative to "conventional" processes including laser, chemical etching, water jet, stamping, or wire EDM.

Scafftag

Notifying test status, indicating when testing is required, and creating an audit trail are the goals of a scafftag. This all works together to ensure a decrease in workplace accidents. You use scaffold tags to safeguard the lives of your employees. It indicates if using a scaffold is safe or dangerous. While tagging scaffolds, adhere to the following instructions.

A qualified individual with scaffold erection experience is required to inspect and add the scafftag to the scaffold. The green tag is a comforting and reliable emblem of safety. When it's hung from scaffolds, it means extensive inspections have been completed, attesting to the safe operation of the scaffold.

This badge attests to the thorough inspection of every component, link, and detail in accordance with stringent safety regulations. Scafftags can communicate to the people even if they are not familiar with that surroundings.

Chemical Etching Process

Chemical Etching Process

Chemical etching is an engraving technique that removes material from metal by using a high-pressure, high-temperature chemical spray to leave a permanently etched image. To create the desired picture, a mask, also known as a resist, is put to the material's surface and then selectively removed, exposing the metal.

By heating the solution and applying high pressure while spraying, a chemical etching machine accelerates the corrosive reaction between the material and the chemical. In order to etch the material atom by atom and provide a smooth, burr-free finish, the chemical spray dissolves the exposed metal sections.

All surface impurities are eliminated from the material through cleaning in chemical etching process. After that, the material is laminated using a photoresist film that is UV sensitive. The required artwork is inserted in a picture tool and placed on top of the laminated material. After that, UV light is exposed to it.  The photo tool's clear sections allow UV light to flow through, hardening the laminated film.

Scafftag

The industry's best scaffold status tagging system (Scafftag) helps manage inspection processes effectively and reduces the risk of working at heights. From the beginning of construction until the structure is disassembled, a scafftag must be installed at all authorized access points, which are often ladder access points.

Scafftag can be fastened with a pull tie, locked in place with a scaffold clip, or attached through the porthole. It can assists you in adhering to the rules and recommended procedures of: equipment inspection and maintenance at reasonable intervals, as determined by a risk assessment.

Scafftag making certain that workers are notified when equipment is unsafe to use. Scaffolding Visual Tagging System to help manage scaffolding inspection procedures and reduce the risk of working at heights. From the early stages of construction, every access point—typically a ladder access—should have a Scafftag installed.
