Pipe Marking tapes and floor marking tapes are used as an identification system. It gives information about what type of content is carrying it or to where the content is moving. In most of the cases, normal or standard label stock will be applicable for marking pipes. However, before choosing a pipe marking tape or floor marking tapes, we have to consider several things.

How to choose a pipe marker?

when we are deciding which type of pipe marking tape we have to choose for our pipe labeling, we have to understand the content characteristics of the pipe carrying. What type of content is flowing through it or which direction it is moving or what is the environmental condition where the pipe will be placed.

If the pipes are out in the open space we have checked the chances of getting bumped or exposed to any type of harsh activity, then we should choose a pipe marking tape which is made up of some durable materials. If we are using a stainless steel pipe, we should consider a pipe marker that would not be corrosive.

Pipe content is also important. We need to consider which type of solution traveling through the pipe. If the content is steam or other hot solutions, there is a chance for the pipe getting hot. selecting a low-grade pipe marker is not a good decision, in this case, if the pipe marking tape is adhesive, It might not stick properly.
