How do you use a banding tool?

To open the cutter lift the handle up and forward. Slide the other end of the plastic banding through the cutter assembly and through the tension wheel. Use the handle to tension the plastic band by moving it back and forth. Place the 2 plastic bands into the seal through the open end.

Automatic strapping machines:

With the tension set, simply place a parcel on the strapping tool and begin the strapping process with the touch of a button. The items are totally strapped mechanically, with the strap tensioned and cut by the machine. The parcel will then merely be removed, ready for the next shipment
