The most common cable tie consists of a versatile nylon tape with an integrated gear rack and on one finish a ratchet inside a tiny open case. Once the pointed tip of the cable tie has been forced through the case and past the ratchet, it's prevented from being forced back; the ensuing loop might only be pulled tighter. This allows many cables to be certain along into a cable bundle and/or to make a cable tree.

Mounting hardware is used to mount traffic signs, security devices, and enclosures. It is specially designed to withstand stress and wind vibration with specialty designed reinforcement ribs. It is fully threaded to solidly anchor attachment bolts. It has hex head bolts with metal and fiber washer and nuts are not required.

The reinforced rib design mounting hardware provides additional strength to resist the effects of stress, wind, and vibration. Industry-standard for all-round poles greater than 3" diameter. It includes a stainless bolt, nylon washer and 5/16-18 x 3/4" stainless steel hex head bolt with metal and fiber washer. It does not require any nuts.
