Wrenches

Wrenches

A  hydraulic wrench is a mechanical tool used to provide a mechanical advantage in applying torque to turn objects. Normally wrenches are known as spanners. Commonly wrenches are used to remove nuts and screws from the materials.

Wrenches are available in different types. We can see what are the types of wrenches. There are 5 types of spanners:
  • Open-end wrench. This one-piece hydraulic wrench is made double-ended with differing size openings for opposite faces of bolts or nuts.
  • Combination wrench.
  • Allen wrench.
  • Socket wrench.
  • Adjustable wrench.

  • As basic of a tool as a hydraulic wrench may seem, there are many types that are meant to be used for specific projects. A wrench applies torque to turn objects by either loosening or fastening items, like nuts and bolts.
This tool is made to produce grip for turning, but with the different designs of fasteners, success can depend on having the right wrench type.

    1. Open-end wrench
This one-piece wrench is made double-ended with different size openings for opposite faces of bolts or nuts. The U-shaped gap on every finish provides grip for objects by flipping the wrench over to use the other facet. For quick and easy use, this wrench is flat and can fit over nuts and bolts in small spaces for tightening or loosening. You may use Associate in Nursing open-ended wrench for slender project areas wherever a bigger or thicker wrench won’t match.

    2. Combination Wrench
Another double-ended tool, the mix wrench is created from AN open-end on one facet and a box-end on the opposite.
The box-end side consists of a closed ring with varying diameters on the inside that depend on the size of the wrench. A combination wrench is a multi-purpose tool with the open-end for tightening and loosening in small spaces and the box-end for leverage and a firm grip around nuts and bolts.
