BAND-IT responded to them with an innovative idea. Band-IT offered lightweight, low-profile, one-piece tie with 360⁰ circumferential sealing capabilities and EMI shielding–Tie-Dex bands. It was a complete solution for them.

They are available in four different configurations. And by using BAND-IT’s Hand Banding or the Pneumatic Banding Tool, these clamping systems can be seamlessly attached to a variety of surfaces. The Pneumatic Banding Tool is used for high-volume assembly and production processes. Generally in a single aircraft assembly as many as 2,000 Tie-Dex bands could be used.
