Different Types of Cable Ties – Releasable Cable Ties, stainless-steel nada Ties, cable tie wraps, reusable cable ties, beaded cable ties, and nylon cable ties. Different types of cable ties are there. These cable ties are referred to as zip ties, wire ties, bundling ties or fasteners.

The melting point of each cable ties is different. Ties withstand temperatures to 185°F (85°C) and have a melting point of 495°F (257°C); except for barbed design cable ties which withstand temperatures to 167°F (75°C) and have a melting point of 425°F (218°C).

A cable tie is also called as a hose tie or zip tie. Sometimes with the brand names also. It is a type of fastener, for holding items together, primarily electrical cables or wires. Because of their low price and simple use, cable ties are ubiquitous, finding use in a wide range of other applications.

Stainless steel cable ties, either naked or coated with a rugged plastic, are used for outdoor applications and hazardous environments. It can withstand harsh environments. It is one of the biggest advantages.

Archwires are made of metal and formed explicitly to fit into the brackets around the mouth.

The difference between corbel and bracket 

Both corbels and brackets are pieces that protrude from a wall and are designed to support some sort of weight. The critical difference between corbels and brackets is their width; corbels are generally thicker than brackets.
