Cable Tie Uses

Stainless steel cable ties and normal cable ties are available in the market. Cable ties are generally used for cable management. But they have other uses around the house. Cable ties or zip ties are typically used for securing the mess of cables under your desk or behind the television. But their usefulness extends far beyond cable management.

Cable ties are available in different sizes and quality. The lightweight, cheap, and strong cable ties can be used for a lot of things around the house. Let's see some of the applications of cable ties in the home. Maybe you will be surprised by it.

If a broken cork has fallen into the bottle, how we can take it outside? let's see how a cable tie can help us in this situation. All-purpose cable ties are flexible than stainless steel cable ties. If you are without a corkscrew on hand, all you need to enjoy it is a few large cable ties.

Create a loop with two or three medium- or large cable ties, push the cork down into the bottle and use the loop to fish out the floating cork (or bits of cork). It can take little time to figure out how to wedge the cork between the two sides of the bottle, you should apply some force to pull the cork out, but it works surprisingly well.

Stainless steel cable ties are expensive while comparing to normal cable ties. However, it can last for long years without any damages. You don't want to purchase a child lock, just to keep children out of a cabinet or a particular area,  at least not for a temporary solution.

Use the cable ties to run through two adjacent handles or around two knobs and pull tight. but after to access the cabinet later, you will need to cut the tie off, so it's not a great long-term solution. But it will keep the child away from the cabins or work stations.
